Htel Serviced Apartments is undergoing a major renovation, with an eye on the future. When the sustainability update is completed, a major improvement in the building’s energy label will also follow.
Sustainability
During the renovation of Htel Serviced Apartments, we are working hard to raise the energy performance and sustainability to a higher level. This will lead to an upgrade from energy label C to energy label A, resulting in energy savings of 55%.
The closed facade parts will be additionally insulated and the windows will be replaced with new HR++ glass. These modifications enable the use of a collective air/water heat pump for both cooling and heating, via hybrid convectors, eliminating the use of natural gas. By using indirect boilers (2x1500L), this heat is also used for hot tap water, which comes almost directly from the tap thanks to circulation piping. Fresh air is constantly supplied via self-regulating ventilation grilles and mechanical extraction.
Modern & comfortable living
The interior of the apartment will also be addressed and renovated. Modern kitchens and a new bathrooms will be installed. There will be bay windows, giving the property more light and space. These interventions will improve the quality of living at Htel Serviced Apartments.
Completion
The renovation will be carried out in two phases. As a result, a selection of the apartments will remain available at all times. The first phase, 133 apartments were completed, in April 2024. The remaining 100 apartments will be completed in Q1 2025.
